these are supposed to be portraits of myself yet i dont really think they look like me. i do see strong resemblance, but i think in this case its important to be precise. wasnt paying much attention to the proportions... because i was in a rush. always the preferred excuse. painting myself at the start felt rather odd, but im actually starting to enjoy the process now. i've got a few more, havent photographed them though. will post them later. i really need to paint over the background of the first one, it just looks blahh to me. most likely bcause i spent 99% of the time focusing on only the visage. always the case, im just completely obsessed with faces.
